Nothing inspires dread or defines maturity quicker than being entrusted with the care and nurturing of a living thing. It hardly matters if it's a pet, your brother, or your grandmother's houseplants when you are the one who's in charge, you are RESPONSIBLE. How hard can it be, you ask, keeping something green alive.
