My ex used the "its not you its me" well, he actually said, "I'm really sorry but I think I kinda rushed into this and I think my friends were right and I'm not ready, maybe in a few years we could get back together, this is the first time I have ever said Its not you its me, really" we are kinda good friends now but he doesnt really like my current boyfriend :p
