While getting your period these days is not on anyone's list of fun experiences, it was a lot yuckier and loads more inconvenient before the introduction of tampons and self-adhesive pads with wings. So ignore that cramp, that pimple, that foul mood and thank your lucky stars. Be grateful and test your knowledge of menstruation history.
