Hey, girls! It's me, Janelle the Intern! I'm a college student who loves cooking, running, traveling, reading, and trying new things. I have two older sisters and two younger sisters, and I absolutely loved growing up in a house full of girls. It was crazy and hectic at times, but so much fun! Constantly being surrounded by girls and getting such great advice from my older sisters is something I definitely bring to my work on BeingGirl.com. Helping girls is something I'm very passionate about, and I'm so lucky to be an intern working for the place that is for girls, by girls! Although I have spent the majority of my life in the United States, I have also lived in the tropical, West African country of Gabon (where my mother is originally from). Gabon is a French-speaking country, so I'm fluent in French and love speaking it any chance I get. I have great friends and an amazing family, and I honestly wake up every day with a smile, ready to take on the day's challenges!
