this probably means that you didn't put it in right. it could be slightly uncomfortable to put it in or take it out, but it shouldn't hurt (especially while it's in). it is possible to break your hymen while putting one in which can hurt, but it shouldn't hurt more than once if that happens.

i had my 5th period and im 11 and tampons r eazy! they dont hert aftr a little bit. i got used to 'em realy fst. i suggest tampax pearl lites cuz thts wat i use. they r realy eazy 2 put in and insrt!

hey coolgurl4ever!!! i also just got my first period and im 13. hey i got mine on wednesday, wierd!!
anyways... how long have you been wearng it? if it hasn't been about 8 hours, then i would wait to change it.
i changed my mine a few hours ago, and i hert a little. does it feel like it's stuck? if so, dont think it is, i dont think they can ever get like STUCK.
just pull at it slowly, and it will come out, yes, it herts a little bit, but it's over with in 5 seconds, max!!
