In many areas of the world, kids live on less than $1 a day! So it doesn't take a lot of money to make a big difference in the lives of kids at HERO schools in Africa. In fact:
- $1 buys lunch every day for a week for a person in Namibia
- $5 buys 5 school books in Zambia
- $10 buys 10 backpacks
- $25 buys an entire year of school fees in South Africa.

Check out the Month for Change program. Just:
- Pick a month to be a Month for Change at your school, church or community group.
- Follow the
simple step-by-step instructions from the HERO program; flyers included!
- Get your friends and family involved. The more, the better!
- At the end of the month, send your funds to the HERO program to help African kids and teens with better schools, basic necessities and hope.
