Do you have a greater chance of getting pregnant the first time you have sex without using protection? Also, what are some symptoms of being pregnant?

Dear Jen,

The chances that you will become pregnant if you have unprotected intercourse is the same whether it is the first time or the tenth time. If you are ovulating when you have unprotected intercourse, you are liable to get pregnant.

The earliest sign of pregnancy is usually missing your period. If you miss a period, take a home pregnancy test or see you doctor. Other signs of pregnancy may be morning sickness (nausea), fatigue, frequent urination, and enlarged and sore breasts.
