My friend says I need a new bra and that underwire ones are the best. Is this really true? I don't think my mom will buy one.

The truth is one type of bra is not better than another. Having different styles of bras available gives us a chance to find one we are happy with. You can choose from training bras, sports bras, padded bras, push-up bras and the underwire style you mentioned. One is not better than another. When you shop for a bra try on the different types to decide what you like best. As long as the bra you choose fits comfortably it will work fine. As long as your breasts are growing you may find you need to change your bra size often. This will give an opportunity to try different styles.

Trying different styles will allow you to know which style you prefer. Take time to try bras on and find the one that fits best—this is very important when bra shopping. When buying a new bra make sure it hooks comfortably on the last hook. This will allow a little stretch and you will still be able to hook it. We recommend buying one bra and wearing it to be sure the bra is right for you.
