Dear BeingGirl Experts, I am an older teenager who has been trying to become healthier and exercise more, but every time I start, I always seem to fail! Do you have any tips to help me? Courtney --- Dear Courtney, Writing down your weekly goals and making them realistic is the first step. An achievable goal may be planning to exercise three times a week. If you make your exercise goal four times during a week then you have made extra progress. Charting your progress may help motivate you. Treat yourself when you make your goal for a certain period of time. The treat can be something simple like sleeping late on a weekend morning when you don't have much going on or bigger like a new piece of clothing you have your eye on. Making positive moves towards your goal will keep your energized. The real reward is how much better you will feel physically and mentally. Good luck, Your BeingGirl Experts
