BeingGirl Points - Major Bragging Rights
Back to My Period Questions
Dear BeingGirl Experts,
This really isn't a question but more of advice to all the girls out there who want to use a tampon but think it will hurt. Okay, all you have to do is relax. It's easier to insert then. And it's easier to get in by squatting. It might feel weird your first time. But believe me it's a lot better than a pad. You might feel a little numb because if you're like me, you'll be in shock that you got it in. If you can't get it in one day because you're too nervous, then stop and try the next day. It took me two days to actually get it in. Just don't give up hope.
Thank you for writing such an encouraging letter for other girls. It's really special that you shared your experience with so many other teens. Remember to change your tampon every 4–8 hours, and use the lowest absorbency necessary for your flow.
