Dear BeingGirl Experts,

This isn't really a question, but it might help. About talking to your mom about your period, I was really nervous, but I just made myself tell her, and she was really nice and helpful. My advice is just to tell your mom, she goes through this, too!

Dear Patsy,

You learned very early how wonderful it is to have a resident expert, your mom! She must be very proud of you!

Okay..I would never be able to talk to my mom about birth control, even though I'm going with my friends to get some.I normally can talk to my mom about anything but I don't really think you can say anything to convince your parents to let you have birth control, especially for sex...blah:/
