I just got my period a few days ago for the first time. My flow has been really heavy for the past day. I was wondering (since I'm only 13) if it's too early for me to try super tampons. I've already used up a regular and leaked a little in two hours. If I'm not ready for super tampons, what should I do?

You should use the absorbency best for your flow. You may be a small woman with a heavy flow who needs a super absorbency tampon. Or, you could be a tall woman who has a light flow and needs a light absorbency. The most important thing is to use the lowest absorbency for your flow. If you find your tampon fully saturated before four hours, you should be using the next higher absorbency. If you remove the tampon at eight hours and still see white fiber on it, your tampon is too absorbent. Drop down one absorbency for the next time.
