Smelly Armpits

Ever feel like you're in a deodorant commercial, trying to discreetly get a whiff of your armpits? How did you survive the last thirteen years without deodorant? Now it's one of the top things you worry about!

As you go through puberty, your body changes in a multitude of ways. One way is that the hormones in your body may make you sweat more and cause smelly armpits. There are other reasons why you may sweat, too. Any stressful or exciting experience can make your sweat glands race. If you're starting a new school or taking an important test, you may experience more sweating than usualeven sweaty palms. But how are you supposed to plan for a cute boy saying, "Hi," to you or an embarrassing moment occurring? How do you plan ahead?

Since you're now a REAL teenager, it's important to shower or bathe daily. I know all too well about those mornings when there is absolutely NO time. If mornings aren't good for you, shower at night before you go to bed. Use a good antibacterial soap. Bacteria causes odor and soap will get rid of it. Remember to wash your face in the morning and at night. This will help ward off those pesky puberty-provoked pimples! So, scrub-a-dub-dub, girlies!

Deodorant is your friend! There are a wide variety of deodorants for you to choose from. There are roll-ons, spray deodorant, solids, invisible solids, clear gels, deodorants with moisturizersit could make your head spin! You also have to decide if you want a deodorant or an antiperspirant. Deodorant just masks odor, while an antiperspirant actually helps you sweat less. Most antiperspirants have deodorants. If you're confused, ask your mom or friends what they use, and try them.

Body spray is an essential product in staying clean and confident. After showering, spray yourself with one of Secret's body spray collection. It's light and not overwhelming like perfume, which some people are sensitive to.

Keep a deodorant stick in your book bag or your locker, along with some body spray. After your lunch period, reapply one or both. There will be no odor to scare off your buds! Remember, life is full of high stress situations, so be prepared!

So instead of going through your day wondering if you smell funky, use a good bathing routine. Try out Secret's huge line of deodorants and body sprays and find one that works for you! Remember, personal hygiene can sometimes seem like a real drag, but it's essential!

I don't use deodorant at all, nor body spray. Saying to be healthy you have to apply dangerous chemicals to your skin doesn't sound to good.

Don't use any deodorant or antiperspirant with aluminum in it. It can cause breast cancer.

I know how u feel muffy!! Its never the smell it's always that wet circle under your pits!! I know because I play volleyball and almost never get a break. I hate that feeling that everyone around is looking at you because you just raised your handstand now everyone sees them. It's hard but I use (certain dry) for my sweat pit problem. It helps me alot!

I've tried everything I can think of. Degree, Secret, Dove, Speed Stick, motion sense, sport, waterproof, clinical strength, etc. I've even tried men's deodorant. I've only tried solid form, never roll-on, gel, or spray. I'm running out of options. Odor isn't an issue, but it seems like nothing will cure my overly sweaty armpits! :/
