Well, here's a sure-fire plan to help you spend time with your pals when life is pulling you in different directions. Plan the perfect Girls Sleep Over with these girl slumber party ideas!

Having a theme will help give your party structure as well as make it feel more like a special event. You want your buds to know that this is more then just regular hanging out. This is a special time set aside for you and your girls to get together and reconnect.

Perhaps as an added treat, you can create special invitations for your friends to attend your party. Take this opportunity to be creative. Some suggestions: if you are good with origami, you can make a cool-looking invitation from paper. Or, if you are wiz with graphic design, create an invitation that you can email. However, if you're all thumbs, send out personalized fortune cookies. There are plenty of online companies that provide this service. And it's sure to be a hit with your friends.

Now that your friends are invited, here is a list of great girl slumber party ideas:

Sundae Making Party—Why not make something that you and your friends can really get into. Is there anything sweeter then making your own sundaes?
Fondue Party—Fondue sets are relatively cheap these days, so cook up some chocolate fondue and dip all your favorite cookies and fruits in mounds of yummy chocolate.
Karaoke/Dance Party—Let the fun and silly times (rock and) roll in with some song and dance. Remember, for pure fun, the cheesier the songs you choose to sing and dance to the better.
A Games Night—Dust off old games like Outburst, Scattegories and Pictionary. Come up with your own twists on charades or even try a scavenger hunt

these are good ideas, one of my friends for her birthday had a sleepover and had one of her older friends come over and do our hair and makeup! It was really fun!
