Dear Need to Know,

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. If you are wondering if you can wear a tampon to bed if you THINK you're getting your period that night, the answer is no. Never wear a tampon unless you are actually menstruating.

If you're asking if you can wear a tampon at night when you HAVE your period, the answer is yes! You may use a tampon during menstruation while sleeping if you sleep less than eight hours. But, remember: A tampon needs to be changed every eight hours. So if you sleep more than eight hours, you should set an alarm to wake up and change your tampon, or else you should sleep with a pad.

wow,that sucks Fuzzy_Phoenix,i started mine when i was eleven,and my mom always suggests me to wear one at night but i never do,just put on a pad right before you go to bed then clean yourself up in the mornin

I started my period when I was 9! Was using pads for the longest time. When I was 16 I started using tampons. What a difference!! I still use pads at night though as that's when my period gets crazy.

hey u cant damage ur girl parts and if u look on youtube and search period chats i believe u can find all the info u need or go to the entertainment and go to the videos and they have tons of videos for u to check out so go and mostly all of ur questions will be answered if not ask for them to make a video with ur question in it and they will make one

I ma not using a tampon when I am sleeping because I have to wake up JUST to change it!!! I'll be half asleep and when putting the new tampon in, I'll probably damage my girl parts lol:D

Help me! I am not ready to stick something up my girl parts |:0. I swim for a swim tea, almost everyday year round. I haven't had my period but if it does come idk what to do.

I haven't used tampons yet but let me tell you: if your flow is heavy like mine then using a bad isn't your best option. I have to sleep/lay on my side when I have my period and it's annoying!
