Should I be on birth control pills because I never know when I'm going to start?

During your teen years having irregular periods is not unusual. As you get older will probably notice your periods settle down and become more predictable. You will also be more used to your cycle then as well.

The decision to use birth control pills to regulate your menstrual cycle is between you and your gynecologist/health care provider.
