I just got my period a month ago (in the summer). I have a pad machine in my school, but it is not always full. I go to a private school so I cannot have a purse. I don't have a pocket in my uniform either. So how should I carry pads with me and not show the world?

When you first start your period it isn't uncommon to have your first period and then not have one for several months, or you may have another one in just a few weeks. You may start out with a regular cycle and then become irregular. Having an unpredictable cycle is not uncommon during your teen years. It may take several years for your cycle to become regular.

Not knowing when your will have your next period means you do need to be prepared. You could put a few pads in your locker or book bag to have when it arrives. On the days when you are having your period you just need to get creative when you are looking for a place to put a pad. Your sock, bra, sweater pocket, glasses case, or even a rolled-up sleeve will work while you are at school.

Changing during class breaks or lunch makes the most sense. Since you aren't sure when your period is due, wear a pantiliner daily to avoid any accidents.
