Dear Kara,

Although there's much less menstrual odor when you use a tampon, there are women who prefer a scented tampon. The tampon collects the menstrual fluid in the vagina, and it is not exposed to air; therefore, little or no odor results. But, it is really a matter of personal choice.

well i am allergic to scented anything so wouldn't a scented tampon cause inflammation in my vagina???

i use scented pantyliner's and pads because the smell of old blood will kill ya.

Besides who needs a scented tampon if when you take out the tampon, its not as if you take it out and then smell it. So, when I get my period Im just gonna stick to pads and normal tampons
