Dear Gabby,

Hormonal problems, pregnancy, stress, eating disorders, excessive exercise, physical illnesses, etc., are reasons you might miss a period. Important to know is if you are sexually active, a missed period can be a sign you are pregnant. If there isn't a chance you are pregnant, then don't worry about pregnancy. When you miss more than two periods in a row, you will need to see your doctor/healthcare provider to determine if there is a problem.

@asa123 ive missed my period.like that before but its back and i didnt go to the doctor

I had my first period then the next month I had my second period, but then for 4 months I didn't have a period. But then 4 monthes later I got my third period, and then the next month I got my fourth period. So I know I used to be irregular, I am just wondering if i'll continue to be regular or keep skipping around..
