Problems With Parents: Getting Them To Mind Their Business

Dear BeingGirl Experts,

My mom and dad are always asking me questions. I mean they are always in my business. I don't know how to tell them that they are asking too many questions. I'll be on the phone talking to my friends or one of my friends is over, and we are talking or doing something, and they will come up and start asking me all these questions.

Your parents may ask questions because they don’t feel like you share or talk much with them. Perhaps making a point to let them know what is going on with you will keep them from asking you. Doing this will allow for conversation and not the inquiry session you seem to dislike.

Chances are they are asking you questions because they love and care about you!

Well basically what being a girl expert said. Your parents need to know the appropiate times when to say something especially when u have company over but then maybe they wanna make sure you're not doing something you're not supposed to be doing.
