Dear BeingGirl Experts,
Every time I have my period, I seem to bleed through in my sleep. I have used both tampons and pads. How can I stop bleeding through in the night? Which is better to sleep in? Pads, or tampons? Please help! Thanks so much!
A tampon is not to be worn more than eight hours. So girls and women who sleep more than eight hours need to use pads overnight. Using an overnight pad and an extra pair of panties to keep things from moving around should solve your problem. If you still have leakage and change your tampon within eight hours, you might try sleeping with a tampon inserted and use a pad as a backup.
