So Aunt Flo is back this month, and you are feeling a bit downwhat to do? Well, don't be sadthere's always a way to live it up, even when you're on your period! Though we cannot make our periods go away, we can think happy thoughts instead to help us through this time. Believe meit makes a huge difference! The following are some tips that I (the BeingGirl editor) have found to be helpful for period relief.

Indulge Yourself

  • Take a long bubble bath. Don't forget music, candles, and a magazine.
  • Chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate! Need I say more?
  • Drink warm liquids.
  • Snuggle up to a "feel-good" movie.
  • Paint your nails and show them off!

Stress Relief

  • Some light exercises help relieve tension in your body and make you feel better overall.
  • Go out with the girls. Shopping works for me!

Hi! I am in 7th grade and am on my period. In my school, our lockers are inside our classroom.? We aren't aloud to go to them unless it's a certain time of the day or we get punished. How can i hide my pads when i need to go change them? My middle? school is one hall. There are about 150 kids (Maybe less!). I've tried putting it in my shoe right before lunch and then asking the teacher. I can't put a tampon kit in my locker either because we don't have locks! And there's no stopping mean girls from getting into my locker! I'm really desperate and scared someone's gonna find out! I know i'm not the only girl that's started in my class, but i'm so embarrased I haven't even told my best friend! I need help!!
