Dear BeingGirl Experts,

I'm 13 years old, and next year I will be starting high school. I know when I get there, there will be a lot of people I know and don't know. There will be boys that will try me. I'm smart enough to know when to say no, but sometimes you just want to say yeah, so please let me know what can I do?

You are always in charge of yourself. Meeting and spending time with the kinds of people you really want to know is important. Don’t settle for friends you know are headed in the wrong direction. Don't get pressured into doing anything you don’t want to do in order to "fit in" with anyone or group. Get involved in activities you enjoy and you'll meet others who share your interests. You can meet some other students and work towards a common goal you enjoy. Chances are you'll make new friends too!

u should always talk 2 boys that r smart and always dress deascent & b a nice gentleman 2 u.unlike other boys they b sagging and b doin BAD things and never hang out wit them. And u will make frends i no u will just dont hang out wit bad girls that think they all that and think they run tha school. Hope this works. HOPE U HAVE A GOOD SCHOOL YEAR PEACE LUV OUTA HERE

Peer Pressure is hard to deal with! my advice as a teenger?! - be yourself, even if you are dying to be with the "cool people" .. the coolest thing to EVERY teenager is seeing someone do their own thing! i look up to girls that act like leaders not followers.. Not only will you get more respect from all of your friends, but even boys! growing up with older brothers i know that guys LOVE girls that have self respect! keep that in mind ladies! :) love, staybeautiful8494 ?
