My Feet Smell

Dear BeingGirl Experts,

I have this big problem: my feet smell really bad. After about one hour of wearing shoes and socks (plus I put on foot deodorizer) my feet get a really bad odor. What should I do to stop my odors?

Dear Ellyn,

This may come as a surprise, but there are more sweat glands in the soles of your feet than any place else on your body. There are things you can do to help combat all the sweat your feet produce. Here is what we suggest you do:

Use antibacterial soap when you wash your feet.
Make sure you dry your feet until they are completely dry when you get out of the shower or bath.
When you have sweaty feet alternating shoes is a smart idea. Do not wear the same pair two days in a row. This way your shoes have time to dry out before you wear them again.
Changing your socks or hosiery once or twice during the day can help with foot odor if you remember to dry your feet when you change socks.
A spray antiperspirant applied after your shower or bath when your feet are completely dry can help reduce the sweat.

Hey everyone, I'm new here but I think I also have a good way to remove foot stink AND make them silky smooth! You'll need bath salt (most likely at a local drug store) and your favorite scent (I recommend stronger fragrances. Florals are fine, too, but they fade faster). Just get into the tub, mix the soap and salt, then rub onto your feet. Tada! :) I hope somebody tries this and likes the results!

I love being girl it helps so much and the totally understand girl problems and this site is great when sometimes it's to weird to talk to my mom about some of this stuff. my feet smell really bad because when we went on vacation last year when we were in the car my dad was like whats that smell and it was my feet O_ o

Also, more tips are when you get home from school take off your shoes and socks and let your fet air-out. When you go outside make sure something is on your feet so no dirt gets in your pores. -JNS:)

My feet smell BADD I could knock someone out with them. Lol I Tryed all the things also and Im Starting to wear plate form shoes. I were different ones every other day. They still smell but not as bad sO many try that.
