Dear BeingGirl Experts, I have this big problem: my feet smell really bad. After about one hour of wearing shoes and socks (plus I put on foot deodorizer) my feet get a really bad odor. What should I do to stop my odors? Ellyn --- Dear Ellyn, This may come as a surprise, but there are more sweat glands in the soles of your feet than any place else on your body. There are things you can do to help combat all the sweat your feet produce. Here is what we suggest you do: Use antibacterial soap when you wash your feet. Make sure you dry your feet until they are completely dry when you get out of the shower or bath. When you have sweaty feet alternating shoes is a smart idea. Do not wear the same pair two days in a row. This way your shoes have time to dry out before you wear them again. Changing your socks or hosiery once or twice during the day can help with foot odor if you remember to dry your feet when you change socks. A spray antiperspirant applied after your shower or bath when your feet are completely dry can help reduce the sweat. Hope this is helpful, Your BeingGirl Experts
