Dear BeingGirl Experts, I've noticed some of the questions girls have asked you, especially the worried late bloomer. I just thought I'd share some advice as well. I had my first period when I was 15. So this is to all you late bloomers: Don't worry! It's all about time. If you're not comfortable with talking to your mom about your body and menstruation, like I am, pick up some pamphlets or check out this site for info. I know I learned most of what I know about menstruation from booklets. That's how I learned not to worry about being a late bloomer. And don't worry about skipping periods during your first year menstruating. I had my period every two months during my first year. Actually, be somewhat grateful. Now that my period is relatively regular (every 28 days), I wish that it would be like my first year. Now it seems like my period starts too quickly after the previous one ends. So to sum up, don't worry! If you haven't gotten your period, just be patient and be grateful for now because you don't have to step into a bathroom every 4–6 hours to change a pad. Daria --- Dear Daria, We couldn't have said it better. Thank you for sharing!
