How to Prevent Pimples...steps to stop the eruptions.

Here are some tips on how to prevent pimples. But remember, even if you practice good hygiene and have healthy eating habits, chances are you'll break out at some point. It's normal.

  1. Wash. Wash your skin morning and night with a gentle cleanser that cleans your pores without drying your skin (don't use grainy, harsh scrubs since these can actually cause acne).
  2. T-zone. Some areas of your face, like your forehead, nose, and chin (often called the T-zone because it's shaped like the letter T) might be oilier than the rest of your face. How to prevent pimples on your T-zone: wash it with a non-oily cleanser.
  3. Water. Drink a lot of water. It helps flush away impurities.
  4. Foods. Although foods cannot cause zits, some people find that what they eat affects their skin. So say hello to healthy food, like fresh fruit and veggie snacks and see-you-later to chocolate and greasy foods like french fries and buttered popcorn. If you think you get zits after eating certain foods, keep a list and avoid eating too much of them or eating them at all.
  5. Relax! Anxiety and stress can cause the adrenal glands to make more hormones, which can cause zits to suddenly pop up. You have a lot going on in your life, but try to take time out for a walk or yoga or whatever works for you.

ok, so we all know we hate pimples, and we get embarrassed in front of boys and those concerts you have to do for music class. So, I have some remedies for this. It won't last forever, because our body produces these things up until age 40, but it will help prevent it. 1. squeeze some lemon into a small bottle, like a medicine bottle or something. use this as a scrub for your face. do it before bed and in the morning. it gets rid of blackheads too. 2. strawberry/cucumber mask use either strawberries or cucumbers. mix in with some yogurt and blend in a blender until smooth. apply to face, for 15 min. then rinse off with lukewarm water. this will help clog up your pores on your face. there are many more remedies though, they're all online! duh! these are only a few and they work good for me. :)

There is a simple, and very easy remedy that helps relieve my pimples: honey. It's an antibacterial, and it's gentle, so it works awesome. I use it as a pimple preventer, and in one month, my forehead is almost pimple free (i previously had a lot) How to use: before bed, dab honey on tender, red, bumpy spots that you know will turn into big whiteheads. The next morning, it will be gone, there will be less redness, or it will be a small whitehead that's almost unnoticable. Try it, and you will love it. It might not be a cure-it-all, but it keeps it under control.
