They are right!!! Being outgoing is defiantly a smart thing to do. I had a crush on this guy for months but i hardly spoke to him and i was really shy. I kept waiting for him to ask me out. Then one day my friend convinced me to talk to him. He gave me his number, and once we talked a while he asked me out! Than i realized if i wouldn't have talked to him he would have never asked me out. Guys are shy to, im not saying you should ask him out. But dont expect them to make the first move if you show no interest in them first! Last week was our 6th month anniversary :)

I believe it is okay to ask a boy out. I know it isn't traditional and that bothers some girls. If you change the scenario a little bit like what if he likes you but is shy or confuse to make that first step to ask you. If you pick up hints that he is into you & youre into him then ask. rejection is scary, i understand but if you never try than you'll never know.
