Dear BeingGirl Experts,

How do I get rid of a hickey?

Marissa

---

Dear Marissa,

There is no fast way to heal a hickey. It needs time to fade. Try hiding the hickey under makeup, your shirt collar, a scarf, or a turtleneck. But the best way to deal with hickeys is to stop them before they make a mark. If someone is sucking on your neck, you have every right to ask him to stop.

Good luck,

My friend got a hickey the other week. We are in 7th grade but she is 14. Btw she got held back. Everyone asked her bout it all the time... She came to school the next day crying that her boyfriend broke up with her. All because one of her best friends went after him with the rope. Surprisingly she caught him. Its gone now but we still joke about it.

i used a penny, you put you middle finger and index finger on each side of it and streth it then scrape it with a penny( it kinda hurts). then after rub it with your fingers to curculate the blood in it. hope this works!(: -Andrea-

I heard that if you put eye drops on the hickey, it'll reduce the redness, just like if you have red eyes. I never tried it,but it sounds like it would work.

wash it right away if possible. and sleep with ice on it. it'll go away a lot quicker.

In a circular motion rub the hickey this will bring circulation to it and it will quickly fade :) while its fading put some makeup on it PAT not rub it on
