Get Period At School: What To Do
Dear BeingGirl Experts, I was wondering. I do have my period, but what if I get it in school and people can see it? Sara --- Dear Sara, If you are close to getting your period, it is a good idea to use pantiliners to protect your clothing. Not only will pantiliners protect your panties from discharge staining them, they will be there to provide protection when you do start your period. Most periods begin with a little staining, not a full drip. If you see some staining when you are at school, then use a pad or tampon you have in your backpack or locker, or see the nurse at your school. We recommend keeping a calendar so you will be able to predict when your next period will come. During the first few years of having periods you may find they are irregular. This isn’t uncommon. Your calendar will be easier to keep up with once your period becomes predictable. You can find a calendar on BeingGirl.com to chart your unique cycle. Hope this is helpful, Your BeingGirl Experts
