OK, I am in love with my boyfriend. We have been together for two months and just the other day my so-called best friend tells everyone at the lunch table that she likes him. Well, not to be mean or anything, but she likes every guy she thinks is cute, and get this, she hasn't even seen my boyfriend. Ever since that day, I haven't talked to her. What do I do? He is your boyfriend. You can nurture this relationship. What you can’t do is control what anyone else thinks about him.

Not talking to your friend because she likes him doesn’t make sense. Stop obsessing about what she said. You know she tends to like the guys she thinks are cute. What she said is probably harmless considering she hasn’t met him. When you mend the friendship with her, then you have the opportunity to encourage her with guys she has a chance with.

If she is really a best friend, she's going to be a part of your life a lot longer than many of the boyfriends each of you will have. I hope that you can go back to being friends and help her to find her own special guy.
