Dear BeingGirl Experts,

I have a question about tampons. How long can you have them before you have to throw them away?

Katarina

---

Hi Katarina,

Tampons have a very long shelf life. This means they can stay on the shelf or in the box for a very long time unless they are stored in a damp environment. When stored in a damp place the tampon will become more difficult to push out of the applicator.

Hope this is helpful,
