Dear BeingGirl Experts,

I have a lot of clear discharge every day. I mean a lot! I think that I'm getting my period in about one week, but this discharge is overwhelming. I'm going to the bathroom every 10 minutes during class so it won't leak. What's up with me? Help!

Having a daily vaginal discharge even after you start having periods is normal. You will continue to have vaginal discharge throughout most of your adult life. Changing levels of hormones in the female's body causes vaginal discharge. This fluid helps keep the vagina clean and healthy.

Vaginal discharge will vary throughout your cycle. Some days it may be wet and liquidy, other days it may be thick and ropey, or you may find it to be thin and slightly sticky to thick and gooey. The color can be clear to white or off-white. You will find the amount of discharge may vary daily also.

If you do not like the way the discharge feels and/or you want to protect your undies, try wearing a pantiliner each day. The pantiliner will absorb the vaginal discharge and help you feel fresh and dry.

@kjperson1 I don't know if mine is discharge either, I get a really wet feeling, and then it dries and there are little white crusty dots. Is that discharge?

I get a clear discharge 5-10 days before my period. It is completely normal.i also get it after my period. That's normal too! When I get the clear discharge before my period, I know that it's time to wear a liner :) any questions? Ask me! :)

i Have had discharge for like 2 years! and yes that is discharge... i havent tried wearing a pantyliner for it, but m underwear is getting all messed up from it! sometimes it is more than other times... almost like a heavier or lighter flow of discharge... i have learned some about it but still dont really feel like i know what is going on!

Its completeley normal for your discharge to harden that happens to me too!and it doesnt dry on the pantiliner for me,it stays slightly wet.wearing a pantiliner makes you forget you even have discharge!

okay does discharge dry hard if you use a pantyliner? cause i think i had discharge so i tried a pantyliner and nothing dried on it was i wrong?

@kjperson1 that's happening to me too! But i don't know if my discharge is on yet! I get the cramps too! but haven't had my period yet! Hope my period comes soon!!!!!! #excited

Does it mean I have discharge if my underwear is wet and later on that day my underwear is hard is that discharge because i dont understand it im thinking that i have discharge but i just dont know please help and im gettin really bad stomach aches but my period isnt on
