Boy Questions: Learn How to Get the Boy

Dear BeingGirl Experts,

I am fourteen but I am in the 10th grade, and I have some boy questions. There is this new guy in my school that I totally have a crush on. I don't know how to approach him. He's held open the door for me before, that's about how close I've gotten to him. I'VE NEVER EVEN SPOKEN TO HIM BEFORE. How do I get him to notice me and get to know each other better?

Dear Maddie,

When you get a crush, even with the new guy at school, remember instead of telling him you like him, why don't you flirt and see how he responds? Saying "Hi" with a big smile is a first step in flirting. When he returns the “hi” and smile then you know you have his attention.

Once you have his attention you might consider starting the conversation with him. You can do this by looking for him at lunch to see if he needs someone to sit with. You might ask him about his schedule and who his teachers are. If he has classes or teachers you are familiar with you can start a conversation about school "stuff" or ask him questions that may be of interest to him. Asking a guy if he's interested in sports from the "player" or "watcher" point of view is a great way to start a conversation. You can tell him about school sports and activities. Hopefully, the conversation will move on from here.

By flirting with him you might spur him to think about the two of you being more. Try to be playful and enjoy trying to get to know him!

I need help! I have know a guy for 3 years. ( yeah a long time ) and I love him! But well here are some details.... We talk and sit next to each other every day, He tries to make me laugh ( only jokes for me?? ), I'm a tomboy and he wont say "NO!" to play he will just say come and play basketball if you want too, He playfully teases me and he wont laugh if I miss a shot even if some other guys do! Does he like me Please answer me - XD

Kinda the same for me.... Exempt he talks to me a lot, and inches close to me. And heisso funny, I've been told he likes me, he says he likes me, but the tone of his voice isn't serious..... Idk, but I really like him.

There is this girl at my school, who is nice, but sheis soooo dramatic! About everything! This boy talks to her twice, and she thinks he likes her ( i like this boy, and she know that!) like I said, she is nice, but overreacts, idk what to do about her.
