Amenorrhea means you are not having periods, and you are older than 16. Primary amenorrhea means you never had a period, and you are older than 16. Secondary amenorrhea means you had a period, and then it stopped coming (and you are not pregnant), or you get fewer than six periods each year. If you have either situation happening, both conditions mean you should see your doctor/health care provider to find out why. If you do not menstruate, this can cause fertility issues for you later when you want to start a family, and it may be an indication that you are not creating enough estrogen. Also, this can lower your bone strength, even though you are still young, and make you more prone to bone breaks, all reasons why you should see your doctor/healthcare professional.
